On Sunday, October 12th, 2008 more than 200 motorcycles and 350 people at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Pool came out to support our inaugural ING DIRECT Ride Now Las Vegas and our first Autism Speaks weekend in Despite the chilly morning air, we had more than 200 motorcycles come out to UNLV’s Thomas and Mack center for an amazing 70 mile ride down the As riders pulled into the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, they headed for the pool to be greeted by local band favorite, Yellow Brick Road, and a hearty lunch provided by the Hard Rock for all. Motocross Legend Carey Hart and custom motorcycle designer, Jesse Rooke were also on hand all day to sign autographs and take photos with party goers. The day ended with great raffle prizes from motorcycle helmets and jackets to a wakeboard package and tickets to local Vegas shows. It was a wonderful day for riding and a great inaugural event in Special thanks goes out to our amazing Las Vegas committee including co chairs Steven and Molly Michelman, Stephanie Anwar, Erica and Mike Carpino, Todd Walton, Paul Davis, Darya Ricotta, Dana and Michelle Bartholomew, who helped make this event such a great success. The ING DIRECT Ride Now Las Vegas wrapped up a successful Ride season with rides in 8 cities across the country raising more than $500,000 in 2008!!
